Greetings!

Welcome to this page of our website.  It is my privilege to introduce you to some brief highlights of Mountain View Christian Center and to let you get to know a little about myself.

Mountain View is an absolutely wonderful church and an excellent place to get connected with genuine people in authentic relationships.  That’s one of the things I love about our congregation.  We work hard to keep everything real and down-to-earth where everyone feels welcome and accepted for who they are.

Our church is nestled in a scenic rural setting between Ridgefield, La Center and Battle Ground with a marvelous view of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood.  One can easily appreciate the majesty of God’s creation right from the parking lot!

We have a nice relaxed environment at Mountain View with a very pleasant contemporary feel.  The dress code is a blend of casual and relaxed to business casual.  The worship style is contemporary with a few hymns occasionally sung to remind us of the great heritage we are blessed to be a part of.  It is always my joy to preach and teach from God’s Word with a focus on practical application of these spiritual truths to our lives.  We utilize a variety of communication styles to keep the presentation of God’s Word relevant and stimulating to the listener. At the close of each service there is a time of spiritual reflection, an opportunity for prayer for those who would like it, and a time of fellowship in our Café Connection.

A summary of our purpose as a church is to exalt and worship the God of all creation and to lift up His Son, the person of Jesus Christ.  We believe He was sent to the earth to die for the sins of humanity and to provide us with the gift of salvation, a meaningful mission and purpose for our lives, and the wonderful hope of everlasting life with God in heaven. We believe that hope can be yours as you open your heart to Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
